Giig vs Recruiterflow: which recruitment CRM should a small agency pick?
Recruiterflow is a modern ATS and CRM for recruitment agencies and executive search firms. Reviewers love how easy it is to use, and it’s built around outbound: sequences, automations and a slick Chrome extension. Its AI layer is called AIRA.
Giig is a UK recruitment CRM and ATS built for independent recruiters and agencies of 1–20 people, with a free plan, published per-user pricing and no contracts.
Both are good-looking, easy tools. The differences are in price, how AI is packaged, and what you can actually do with Claude.
Pick Giig if…
- You want a free plan, or a cheaper per-seat price for a small team
- You want AI and Claude without a quote-only premium plan
- You want Claude to update your CRM, not just read it
- You want UK multi-posting through idibu
- You want to switch over quickly, with a free CSV import or a full database restoration
Pick Recruiterflow if…
- Outbound sequences and 1,000+ automations are central to how you work
- You want a client deal pipeline, goals and leaderboards built in
- You’re happy to talk to sales for an all-in AI plan
- You’re an exec search firm wanting a polished, outbound-led platform

Pricing: per seat, plus a quote for the AI
Recruiterflow charges one platform price and quotes separately for its AI. Giig does it the other way round: AI is just another plan with a price on it – Giig AI at £49.17 per user per month on annual billing (+VAT) – with Plus at £37.50, Starter at £12.50 and a free plan for one user below it. Everything’s on the pricing page.
Recruiterflow publishes one price: the Platform plan at $149 per user per month on monthly billing. Third-party reviews put it at around $119 on annual billing, and roughly £115 monthly or £89 annually in pounds. The AIRA plan, which bundles all of its AI agents with “no add-ons”, is quote-only.
A few other costs come up in reviews and pricing write-ups: job board posting can cost extra, advanced reporting sits with AIRA, and every seat is billed whether someone uses it or not.
For a three-person agency:
- Recruiterflow Platform: 3 × $149 = $447 a month on monthly billing (around $357 on annual), without the AIRA AI plan.
- Giig AI: 3 × £49.17 = £147.51 a month on annual billing, with AI and the Claude connector included.
Where Recruiterflow wins
- Outbound. Multichannel sequences and 1,000+ automations. If you live in sequences, Recruiterflow is built for you. Giig does bulk email and templates, not multi-step sequences.
- Sales pipeline and goals. A client deal pipeline, goals and leaderboards out of the box.
- Polish. Reviewers consistently rate the interface and support very highly.
- AI agents. AIRA’s notetaker, matchmaker and job change alerts are useful, if you’re on that plan.
Where Giig wins
- Price. Free for one user, and Giig’s top plan costs roughly half of Recruiterflow’s Platform plan per seat – with AI included rather than quoted separately.
- Claude can actually do things. Recruiterflow’s MCP is read-only: Claude can look things up but can’t update records. Giig’s is read/write, so Claude can log notes, update candidates and create tasks.
- UK job posting. Giig integrates with idibu for UK multi-posting. Recruiterflow’s posting depends on plan and region, and reviewers mention limited job boards.
- Switching. Recruiterflow’s done-for-you migration is paid and takes 6–8 weeks. With Giig, you can import your CSVs for free and get going the same day, or have us restore your full database from an SQL or .bak backup file (paid – contact the team for pricing).
- Reporting on the mid plan. Advanced reporting is on Giig Plus. Recruiterflow reviewers flag reporting as a weak spot unless you’re on AIRA.
AI and Claude: read-only vs read/write
Recruiterflow launched a Claude MCP connector in August 2026, which is great to see. Right now it’s read-only: Claude can search and summarise your Recruiterflow data, but it can’t create, edit or delete anything.
That’s a real difference in day-to-day use. “Who did I speak to about the finance director role?” works on both. “Log this call, move Sarah to interview and remind me Friday” only works on Giig.
Under the hood, Giig’s connector covers candidates, jobs, contacts, companies, notes and tasks. Each category can be read/write, read-only or switched off, per role – so you could let consultants update candidates and log calls while keeping company records read-only. It’s included on the Giig AI plan.
Moving your data from Recruiterflow to Giig
A free CSV import on any paid plan gets most small agencies up and running the same day. If you want your full Recruiterflow history, we can restore your whole database from an SQL or .bak backup file – that’s a paid job, so contact the team for a quote.
The verdict
If your agency runs on outbound sequences and automations and you’re happy paying for a premium, polished platform, Recruiterflow is a very good choice.
If you’re a small UK agency who wants a simpler CRM at a fraction of the price, with Claude able to actually update your records, Giig is the better fit. Start free and see.
