Giig vs Loxo: which recruitment CRM is right for your agency?

By Luke, founder of Giig · Updated October 2026 · Prices checked against public pricing pages

Loxo is a US recruiting platform that calls itself “talent intelligence”. Its big selling point is a huge sourcing database (850 million+ profiles) bolted onto an ATS and CRM, with AI agents and outreach on top. It raised $115M in 2025, so it’s not short of ambition.

Giig is a UK recruitment CRM and ATS built for independent recruiters and agencies of 1–20 people. Free plan, per-user pricing in pounds, no contracts.

Both now connect to Claude, which makes this one of the more interesting comparisons. Here’s where each one makes sense.

Pick Giig if…

  • You’re UK-based and want GBP pricing, monthly billing and no annual prepay
  • You already have your own network and data sources (LinkedIn, Lusha, Apollo, your database) and don’t need a built-in people database
  • You want a simple CRM/ATS that a small team picks up in a day
  • You want Claude to read and write your CRM without paying for a big platform tier
  • You want to start free and grow into paid plans

Pick Loxo if…

  • Sourcing is your bottleneck and you want a built-in database of 850M+ profiles with contact data
  • You recruit mostly in the US, where Loxo’s data is strongest
  • You want AI agents doing sourcing, screening and outreach inside one platform
  • You’re happy paying annually, up front

Pricing: annual up front vs pay as you go

Giig bills in pounds and doesn’t ask for a year up front. One user is free forever. Beyond that you pay per seat – £14.99 (Starter), £45 (Plus) or £59 (Giig AI) per user per month, plus VAT. No contract, cancel anytime. No credit packs and no Boost tiers to work out. Full details are on the pricing page.

Loxo’s current pricing page lists Core from $149 per user per month (flagged as a limited-time offer for new customers) and Professional at $199 per user per month, both billed annually and paid up front. Professional is where you get Loxo Source, the full set of AI agents and 2,500 credits per user per month. If you need more credits there are “Boost” tiers, but the prices aren’t published.

Loxo’s pricing has also changed several times in 2026, which is why different review sites quote different numbers. Some still mention a free tier or a “Basic” plan. Check the live page before you budget.

For a three-person agency:

  • Loxo Core: 3 × $149 = $447 a month, so roughly $5,364 paid up front for the year.
  • Loxo Professional: 3 × $199 = $597 a month, roughly $7,164 up front.
  • Giig AI: 3 × £59 = £177 a month, no contract, cancel whenever.

To be fair, the Loxo Professional number includes a sourcing database, and that’s worth real money if you’d otherwise pay for a separate data tool. If you already pay for Lusha or Apollo, you may be paying twice.

Where Loxo wins

  • Built-in sourcing. 850M+ profiles with contact data in the same place as your CRM. Giig doesn’t have a people database – you bring your own.
  • Outreach in one place. Email, text and calls from inside Loxo get consistent praise from reviewers.
  • Agentic AI. Loxo has gone all-in on AI agents for search, screening and outreach.
  • A mature MCP. Loxo’s MCP connector supports Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor with around 180 actions. Credit where it’s due – it’s a serious piece of work.

Where Giig wins

  • Built for UK agencies. Pricing in pounds, a UK team, and UK integrations like idibu for multi-posting. Loxo is US-first, and reviewers say its contact data is noticeably weaker outside the US.
  • No annual prepay. You can pay monthly and leave whenever. With Loxo you’re paying for the year up front, and some reviewers mention automatic yearly price rises.
  • Cheaper to get going. Free for a solo recruiter, and the full AI plan costs less per user than Loxo’s entry tier.
  • Simpler. Loxo is a sourcing platform with a CRM attached. Giig is a CRM and ATS first, focused on running jobs, candidates and clients without the extra layers. Some Loxo reviewers mention weaker business development and deal tracking – Giig has a dedicated BD pipeline.
  • No credit maths. Giig’s AI plan isn’t metered on credits for everyday CRM work.

AI and Claude: both connected, different philosophies

This is the one comparison where we can’t say “we have an MCP and they don’t”. Loxo has one, and it’s good.

The difference is what sits behind it. Loxo’s MCP is the gateway into a big sourcing platform with credits and agents. Giig’s is the gateway into a lean CRM you actually run your desk on, priced so a two-person agency can afford it.

Giig’s Claude connector is built for the day-to-day admin rather than sourcing. Typical asks: “what did I last say to the FD at Acme?”, “log this call and book me a follow-up for Tuesday”, “which of my live roles haven’t had a submission in a fortnight?” Claude can read and write candidates, jobs, contacts, companies, notes and tasks, and admins set exactly what each role can change.

If you want Claude to help you find people from a giant database, Loxo’s setup makes more sense. If you want Claude to help you run your agency – updating records, logging calls, prepping for client meetings, chasing tasks – Giig does that for a lot less money.

Moving your data from Loxo to Giig

A free CSV import on any paid plan gets most small agencies up and running the same day. If you want your full Loxo history, we can restore your whole database from an SQL or .bak backup file – that’s a paid job, so contact the team for a quote.

The verdict

Loxo is a strong platform for US recruiters whose biggest problem is finding candidates. If that’s you, it’s worth a demo.

If you’re a UK independent recruiter or small agency who already knows where to find people and just wants a simple, affordable CRM that works with Claude – without a year’s fees paid up front – Giig is the better fit. Start on the free plan and see.

FAQs

How much does Loxo cost compared with Giig?
Loxo’s published plans are Core from $149 per user per month and Professional at $199 per user per month, billed annually and paid up front. Giig is free for one user, then £14.99, £45 or £59 per user per month, with no contract.
Does Loxo have a free plan?
Loxo’s current pricing page shows a 7-day trial of Professional rather than a free plan. It used to offer a free tier, which is why some sites still list one. Giig has a free-forever plan for one user.
Do both Giig and Loxo work with Claude?
Yes. Both have MCP connectors that let Claude read and write CRM data. Loxo’s also supports ChatGPT and Cursor. Giig’s connector is included on the Giig AI plan at £59 per user per month, with permissions you set per category and role.
Is Loxo good for UK recruiters?
It can work, but it’s built US-first. Reviewers say the contact data in Loxo Source is weaker outside the US, and pricing is in dollars with annual prepayment. Giig is UK-built with GBP pricing and UK integrations like idibu.
Does Giig have a candidate sourcing database like Loxo?
No. Giig is a CRM and ATS, not a data provider. You add candidates via the LinkedIn Chrome extension, CV parsing, CSV import or your careers page, and many customers pair it with tools like Lusha or Apollo.
Can I move my data from Loxo to Giig?
You can bring your data across two ways: a free CSV import on any paid plan, or a full restoration of your database from an SQL or .bak backup file. The full restoration is a paid service, so contact the team for pricing.
