Three steps to get Claude talking to your CRM, and one setting that keeps you fully in control of what it can do.
From your Team page, open the Actions menu next to any team member and select "Enable MCP Access." It's a per-person switch, so you decide exactly who on your desk gets to connect Claude.
View pricing →In Claude, click Customise in the left-hand menu, then Connectors. Click Add → Add Custom Connector, name it "Giig", and paste in your Remote MCP Server URL from your Giig MCP settings. Click Add, then Connect.
View pricing →Claude will ask for a Client ID and Client Secret. Copy both from your Giig MCP settings and paste them in, then click Connect. One thing to remember: your Client Secret is only ever shown once, so copy it the moment it's generated.

It's Giig Hire's integration that securely connects Claude to your recruitment CRM using Model Context Protocol (MCP) — an open standard that lets AI assistants read and work with data inside the software you already use. Instead of copying information between systems, you ask Claude questions about your recruitment business directly, and it answers from your live Giig data.
Yes. Your data stays inside your Giig account at all times. Claude doesn't copy, store, or export it elsewhere, it just reads and works with what's already there. Security has been a priority from day one, and you're always the one deciding what Claude is allowed to access.
Yes, in more detail than a simple on/off switch. Every action — Candidates, Contacts, Jobs, Companies, Notes, and more — can be individually set to Read/Write, Read Only, or switched off completely, and you set this separately for Managers and Users. Nothing is exposed to Claude beyond what you've explicitly allowed.
No. We've designed Giig Claude MCP to be straightforward to set up, even if you've never used an AI integration before. It's a settings-page task, not a developer project. If you can copy and paste a link, you can connect it.
We built our first MCP integration around Claude, since it's one of the leading AI assistants supporting Model Context Protocol. MCP itself is an open standard though, so other MCP-compatible tools, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot, can connect too.
