What is a recruitment ATS?
I guess we should start at the top for anyone reading this blog that is unsure what I mean when I say ATS.
Quite simply it stands for — Free ‘Applicant Tracking system’
A place where you can track and manage any candidates that you are headhunting for roles for your clients.
A candidate database, if you will.
As you will know the lifeblood of any recruiter’s business is their candidate network and database.
It’s of the utmost importance that you make sure you store, track and manage your candidates efficiently.
If you are speaking to candidates daily but not storing them effectively you will find that you are constantly chasing your tail when you get a new role.
You will be starting from scratch every time.

As we have already discussed your candidate network is the lifeblood of your business so we thought that it would be important to allow you to add as many candidates as you need to the system.
You simply add a candidate by clicking the ‘add candidate’ button attaching a CV and filling in the details.
That candidate will then be stored in Giig, to ensure you can get to them again in the future.
2. Skill Your Candidates
When adding candidates to the free ATS you can skill them so that you can easily find them for future roles.
Skilling candidates make it easy to locate them in the future should you have a new role come up at a later date that has a similar skill set.
3. Search Your Candidates
At any point in time, you can come back to the Giig database and search for candidates by name, location, skills etc.
This becomes useful when you are given a new role and quickly need to identify what candidates you have in your database that might be suitable.
Within seconds you can run a search on the platform to understand which candidates you have available that might be a match.
4. Prospecting Pipeline Board
When headhunting candidates it can take time to win their trust and book a call to interview them before sending them to your client.
The prospecting pipeline board allows you to track when a candidate has expressed interest when a candidate meeting is booked & when a candidate is ready to send.
It’s perfect for ensuring you don’t lose track of the candidates who have said they are interested in chatting.
5. Interview Pipeline Board
This one is very similar to the prospecting board, it allows you to track and manage those candidates that you have sent to roles with your clients.
When you have sent a candidate to one of your clients, you need to make sure that you know where they are at all times, so that you can ensure they have a smooth ride through your client’s interview process.
6. The Ability To Win Clients
Now winning clients using Giig will become another blog post because it’s a topic in itself!
