When starting up as a Freelance Recruiter, one of the first things that you will need to create is a company website.
A place where you can showcase your business and recruitment experience to the clients and candidates that you will be working with.
There is just one problem with launching a website…
It tends to be costly and time-consuming.
The majority of recruiters know that they need to build a website but don’t want to spend lots of time and money on it.
They want to spend their time doing what they do best… Recruiting!
This is exactly why this week, we launched a free website builder.
A tool that allows you, to launch a website within 30 seconds!

In the opening section of this blog, I made the claim that you can launch a website within a couple of clicks.
Let me run you through how that works.
After signing up for the Giig platform, you will notice in the top taskbar that there is a link titled ‘Website’.
Let’s call that — ‘Click 1’
After clicking on the website link in the top taskbar you will then be greeted with 3 different templates to choose from.
To help you get started, we have created 3 different templates:
All you have to do is click one and there you have it, you’ve created your very own website!

Which I like to think makes my claim pretty accurate… Within a couple of clicks, you can launch your very own shiny website.
After creating your website, you’re going to want to spend some time personalising it.
We have created templates to make things easy for you and to help you get started but it’s important (especially as a Freelancer) that you personalise it to showcase, who you are & what your experience is in recruitment.

So you might be wondering….
Why is the Giig website builder different to any other website builder out there?
Well to be totally honest with you,
At the moment… It’s not.
Version 1 of the free website builder gives you the tools to be able to create a website in a similar fashion to something like Wix or GoDaddy.
However,
We plan to change this in the future.
The Free Website Builder is just the start of what we envision this will become for the Freelance Recruiter community.
Over time we want to allow recruiters to start to collect stats and verified reviews of their work.
So that the platform becomes a hybrid between a website and a portfolio!
The verified reviews will become a feature which we think will help to add value!
One of the hardest parts of recruitment is building trust with the clients that you want to work with.
Having a platform that can showcase to new potential clients that you can do the job could open more doors.
We will give Freelance Recruiters the ability to send out a review link to the candidates and clients that they work with.
Any review left by a candidate or client will be verified by the Giig platform, creating a stamp of validation.
Over time these validated reviews will start to build up on the Freelance Recruiter profiles, which will act as a way to showcase to clients that they can be trusted to do the role.
